Terms and conditions
General terms and conditions of Sportovní centrum Řepy for admission, season passes, prepaid cards, gift vouchers and venue hire. Accommodation and classes have their own terms.
Operator: Zdravá Sedmnáctka s.r.o., Na Chobotě 1420/16, 163 00 Prague 6 – Řepy, Company ID No. 08082316, VAT No. CZ08082316, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 312703 (hereinafter the “Operator”).
Contact: reception, telephone +420 222 204 103, e-mail [email protected]. Contacts for bookings and venue hire are on the Contact page.
Effective from: 26 October 2026, for contracts concluded from that date. These terms and conditions replace the terms and conditions of 17 March 2020.
1. Introductory provisions
- These general terms and conditions (hereinafter the “terms”) govern the rights and obligations between the Operator and the customer when using the services of Sportovní centrum Řepy, Na Chobotě 1420/16, Prague 17 – Řepy (hereinafter the “centre”). They cover:
- admission to the swimming pool, wellness, gym and other facilities,
- season passes, prepaid (top-up) cards and gift vouchers,
- hire of sports facilities: the sports hall, outdoor courts and pitches, studios and swimming lanes, including hire for events.
- The following have their own terms:
- accommodation at the centre’s hotel: Accommodation terms and conditions,
- classes and courses with sign-up in the EOS club system: the terms the customer confirms when signing up (see Classes and courses),
- services provided at the centre by other persons (for example clubs or the tennis academy): the terms of the provider of that service.
- A customer is anyone who buys or uses the centre’s services. A consumer is a customer acting outside their business activity (Section 419 of the Civil Code, Act No. 89/2012 Coll.). Provisions on consumers apply only to customers who are consumers.
- A contract concluded individually with a customer (for example a hire contract with a club, a school or an event organiser) takes precedence over these terms. These terms apply to anything that contract does not cover.
- The customer observes the operating rules and visitor rules of each facility, which are displayed at the entrance and available at reception, and the instructions of the staff.
2. Conclusion of the contract
- Admission: the contract is concluded when admission is paid at the cash desk, including payment with a MultiSport card, a prepaid card or a voucher. The receipt serves as proof.
- Facility booking: the contract is concluded when the booking is confirmed in the booking system (by a confirmation e-mail or by the booking appearing in the customer’s account), or, for bookings made by telephone, by e-mail or at reception, when the Operator confirms it. The booking systems are listed on the Booking and sign-ups page.
- Events and hire on enquiry: the customer sends an enquiry, the Operator sends an offer, and the contract is concluded when the customer accepts the offer in writing or signs the contract. A contract that the Operator is obliged to publish in the Register of Contracts (Act No. 340/2015 Coll.) takes effect on publication; the Operator arranges the publication.
- The Operator may refuse to conclude a contract, in particular when capacity is full, when a facility is closed, if the customer has previously seriously breached the operating rules, or if the customer owes the Operator an unpaid debt.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices of services are in the price list, which is also displayed at reception. Prices are final and include VAT. An offer or contract for businesses and organisations may state prices excluding VAT; in that case it must say so explicitly.
- Admission is paid in advance at the cash desk: in cash, by payment card, with a prepaid card or with a voucher. The centre accepts the MultiSport card and other employee benefit cards under the conditions stated in the price list.
- Hourly hire is paid as the booking system specifies: online in advance, or at reception before the hire begins at the latest.
- For events and hire on enquiry, the Operator issues a proforma invoice for 50% of the price, unless the offer or contract specifies otherwise. The deposit is due within 14 days of accepting the offer, but in any case before the hire begins. The Operator invoices the rest of the price after the hire ends, with payment due within 14 days. If the deposit is not received in time, the Operator may cancel the booking after prior notice.
- A change of the price list does not affect services already paid for or confirmed bookings. Article 5 applies to season passes, prepaid cards and vouchers.
- For payments at the cash desk the Operator issues a receipt; for invoices, a tax document in electronic form.
- If the customer is late with a payment, the Operator may claim statutory interest on late payment and refuse further bookings until the payment is made.
4. Admission and stay in the facilities
- Admission entitles the customer to one entry to a facility for the time stated in the price list. The time runs from entering the paid area until leaving it; extra time is paid according to the price list.
- Anyone claiming reduced admission (for example children, students, seniors or holders of a ZTP or ZTP/P disability card) proves their entitlement with a document on request.
- The capacity of the facilities is limited. Entry may be restricted when capacity is full, when part of a facility is hired out (for example lanes in the swimming pool) or during an event. We announce restrictions known in advance on the website and at reception.
- Admission is not refunded if the customer does not use the service or ends it early for reasons on their side. If the Operator interrupts operation after admission has been paid (for example due to a fault, an emergency or for hygiene reasons), it refunds the admission or a proportionate part of it, or, with the customer’s consent, provides a replacement entry.
- Staff may expel from the facility, without a refund of admission, a customer who seriously breaches the operating rules despite a warning or who endangers themselves or others.
- The customer judges for themselves whether their health allows them to use the services, in particular the swimming pool, saunas and gym. The rules for children’s entry are set by the price list and the operating rules.
5. Season passes, prepaid cards and gift vouchers
- A season pass entitles the holder to a number of entries or to entries for the period stated in the price list. Unless the price list or the pass states otherwise, it is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. A rise in admission prices does not affect season passes already bought.
- A prepaid (top-up) card carries credit with which the customer pays admission and other services where the price list allows it. Benefits for topping up (for example a discount on admission) are stated in the price list. Credit is drawn according to the price list valid on the day it is used. Credit is valid for 24 months from the last top-up, and each top-up extends the validity of the whole balance. For credit topped up before 26 October 2026, this period runs from 26 October 2026.
- A gift voucher is issued for an amount or for a specific service. It is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless it states otherwise. A voucher for an amount can be used gradually, and the unused balance remains valid until the voucher expires. A voucher for a service (for example entry to the wellness) has the value of the price of that service on the day of purchase; if the price rises in the meantime, the customer pays the difference.
- Season passes, credit and vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and their unused part is not refunded, except in the cases under paragraph 6 and Article 10.
- Season passes and prepaid cards are transferable unless they are issued in a name; vouchers are always transferable. The customer reports the loss or theft of a card at reception. The Operator blocks the card and transfers the balance to a new card if the customer proves they are its holder (for example with a receipt for the purchase or top-up). Any fee for a new card is stated in the price list. The Operator is not liable for use of the card before the loss is reported.
- If the Operator cannot provide the service to which a season pass, credit or voucher relates for more than 30 consecutive days (for example during the renovation of a facility), it extends their validity by the length of the interruption. If the interruption lasts more than 3 months or the facility closes, the Operator refunds the unused part of the price paid at the customer’s request.
6. Venue hire
- The sports hall (whole, 2/3 or 1/3), outdoor courts and pitches, studios and swimming lanes can be hired, together with equipment according to the price list.
- These terms distinguish two types of hire:
- hourly hire: booking individual hours of a facility (for example a court, a lane, or part or all of the hall) in the booking system, by telephone, by e-mail or at reception;
- events and full-day hire: hire for a tournament, a match with spectators, a race, a training camp, a corporate or other event, full-day hire of the hall, and any hire for which the Operator sends an offer, a proforma invoice or a contract.
- Regular hire for a longer period (for example club and school training sessions for a whole season) is governed by the contract. If the contract does not cover cancellation, the rules for hourly hire apply to cancelling a single session and the rules for events apply to cancelling the whole contract.
- The changing rooms can be entered no earlier than 15 minutes before the hire begins. The facility must be vacated by the end time of the hire at the latest, and the changing rooms within 15 minutes after it. Time not used because of late arrival is not made up and the price is not reduced.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring that the facility is used only by the persons for whom the hire is intended and only for the purpose agreed when booking, that these persons observe the operating rules and the instructions of the staff, and that they wear footwear suitable for the surface.
- Underage participants must be accompanied and supervised throughout the hire by a responsible adult designated by the customer.
- The organiser of an event is responsible for its organisation, stewarding and the safety of participants and spectators, and for obligations under special regulations (for example notifying the event or settling copyright for music), unless the contract provides otherwise. We recommend that organisers take out liability insurance. Sales, advertising, catering or their own technical equipment at the event are possible only with the Operator’s consent.
- The customer returns hired equipment undamaged. Regular cleaning is included in the hire price; extra cleaning and preparation of the facility are charged according to the price list.
7. Cancellation of hire
- The customer can cancel a hire in the booking system in which they made it, by e-mail to [email protected] or by telephone at reception. The time at which the Operator receives the cancellation is decisive.
- Hourly hire:
- cancellation at least 24 hours before the hire begins: free of charge;
- cancellation less than 24 hours before the hire begins, or failure to show up: 100% of the hire price.
- Events and full-day hire: the cancellation fee is calculated from the price of the hire ordered, including the equipment and services ordered, according to the number of days between the day of cancellation and the first day of the hire:
| Cancellation before the hire begins | Cancellation fee |
|---|---|
| more than 60 days | free of charge |
| 31–60 days | 25% of the price |
| 15–30 days | 50% of the price |
| 14 days or less, or failure to show up | 100% of the price |
- Shortening the hire or reducing the area hired is treated as cancelling the corresponding part.
- A deposit paid is set off against the cancellation fee; the Operator refunds any overpayment within 14 days to the account from which the payment was made. A cancellation fee not covered by a payment is invoiced by the Operator or paid by the customer at reception. Until it is paid, the Operator may refuse further bookings.
- A change of date is possible subject to availability. A request for a change at a time when a cancellation fee would already apply is treated as a cancellation and a new booking, unless the Operator and the customer agree otherwise.
- The Operator may cancel or move a confirmed hire for serious operational reasons (for example an emergency, an urgent repair, an official measure or an extraordinary event). It informs the customer without undue delay and offers a replacement date. If the customer does not accept it, the Operator refunds everything the customer has paid. The customer has no other claims (for example for the participants’ travel or accommodation costs), unless the Operator caused the damage intentionally or through gross negligence.
8. Liability for damage and items left
- The customer is liable for damage to the centre’s property caused by themselves, by the persons using the facility with them or by the participants of their event. Damage must be reported to the staff without delay.
- The Operator is liable for items left in a place intended for that purpose (for example in a locked changing-room locker) to the extent set out in Section 2945 et seq. of the Civil Code. We recommend leaving money, documents and valuables at home or keeping them on you at all times.
- Please hand in found items at reception, which keeps them and deals with unclaimed items in accordance with the law.
9. Complaints
- If a service does not correspond to what was agreed or to what the price list and the website state (for example a sauna not working, lack of cleanliness or a billing error), please complain without undue delay, ideally straight away at reception or to the staff, so that the defect can be remedied on the spot. A complaint can also be made by e-mail to [email protected] or by letter to the Operator’s address.
- In the complaint, state what you are complaining about, when it happened and how you would like the complaint to be settled. Attach the proof of payment or the booking number if you have them.
- The Operator gives a consumer a confirmation that the complaint has been received (when it was made, what it concerns and what settlement is requested). It settles the complaint within 30 days of it being made at the latest and issues a confirmation of the settlement (Section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act, Act No. 634/1992 Coll.).
- The Operator settles a justified complaint, depending on the nature of the defect and the customer’s choice, by remedying the defect, by a replacement service (for example a replacement entry or date), by a reasonable discount or by refunding the price.
- Please report defects in food and drinks at the bistro straight away to the staff serving you. For goods bought at the centre, rights arising from defective performance are governed by Section 2158 et seq. of the Civil Code.
- A consumer is entitled to reimbursement of reasonably incurred costs connected with a justified complaint.
10. Distance contracts
- Booking a facility or an event for a specific date is a service related to leisure activities provided on a specific date. Under Section 1837(j) of the Civil Code, a consumer therefore has no right to withdraw from such a distance contract; they can cancel the hire under Article 7.
- If a consumer buys a season pass, a prepaid card or a gift voucher online, they may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion. They send the withdrawal by e-mail to [email protected] or by letter to the Operator’s address. The Operator refunds the money received within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, using the same method by which it was paid. If the consumer started using the services at their own request during this period, they pay a proportionate part of the price for what has been provided (Section 1834 of the Civil Code).
11. Personal data protection
- The Operator processes customers’ personal data to the extent necessary to conclude and perform the contract, to manage bookings, for accounting and to meet its legal obligations.
- Details, including the processors that run the booking systems for the Operator, are in the privacy policy.
12. Out-of-court dispute resolution and supervision
- A consumer has the right to out-of-court dispute resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Praha 1, adr.coi.cz. The application can be filed no later than 1 year from the day on which the consumer first exercised their right with the Operator.
- Compliance with obligations towards consumers is supervised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
13. Changes to the terms and final provisions
- These terms are published on this website and available at reception. Each contract is governed by the version in effect on the day it was concluded.
- The Operator may change these terms. For season passes, prepaid cards and vouchers that last for a longer period, it announces the change at least 30 days in advance on the website and at reception. A customer who does not agree with the change may reject it and request a refund of the unused part of the price paid (Section 1752 of the Civil Code).
- Legal relations are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act.
- If any provision of these terms is invalid, the other provisions remain in effect.
This is an English translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
